Contraindications for Implant Installation

Stages of implant installation in the clinic VIDADENT:

  • Preparation. Duration of the stage depends on the conditions of the oral cavity. Computed tomography and panoramic X-ray of the jaw are performed, after which the dentist can find hidden pathologies of invisible tissues and bone structure, to treat teeth and gums. Need to get tested.
  • Build up of bone tissues. If a deficiency is found, that often happens with long-term absence of teeth. The duration of the operation is several hours, but survival rate is 3-4 months.
  • The implants installation. One operation. A bed is created in the gum in which the implant is fixed. A cover screw is placed on the top. Recovery process is 2-3 months.
  • Abutment installation – of metal product, which connects the prosthesis and implant. Takes just several minutes.
  • Taking impressions for prosthetics and choose of the construction e according to the patient wishes and its financial abilities.
  • Prosthesis and implant installation. After the implant installation 2-3 months should pass.
After the implant installation the soft meals can be eaten and solid food should be introduced into the diet gradually. The first months are important to follow that the implant has not moved. The dentist will consult you about it in details.
